VOLANS is a Swiss premium swimwear label that produces high-quality, sustainable and ethically produced swimwear by women for women in Europe. The company is run by Mira and Ivon Blazevic, a mother-daughter team. Their passion for swimwear and water has accompanied them all their lives, and founding their own label fills them with great joy and pride.

Mira discovered her passion for sewing and designing during her apprenticeship as a seamstress at CALIDA in Sursee. She worked for the Swiss swimwear label LAHCO for 44 years, where she not only worked as a seamstress, but also developed and implemented designs. She always performed this task with great joy and creativity until she retired in 2015.

Ivon grew up wearing LAHCO swimwear and was fascinated by the world of swimwear from an early age. As a teenager, she and her mother developed bikinis for herself and her friends, which they enjoyed and further strengthened her passion for swimwear. However, Ivon decided to study business and worked for over 15 years as Head of Marketing in the beauty and fashion industry. After Mira's retirement and Ivon's search for a meaningful job, the idea of ​​​​their own label was rekindled. With a lot of enthusiasm and respect, they presented the first VOLANS collection in 2018 and founded VOLANS Swimwear.

This story forms the foundation for VOLANS and continues to drive us to develop swimwear that meets women's individual needs and gives them a feeling of well-being, freedom and beauty.
