Studio Pisani

A series of objects at the interface between design and art

Patricia Pisani is a versatile visual artist from Berlin. She studied sculpture and fine art in Buenos Aires and at the Stuttgart Art Academy. She casts the vessels by hand from concrete. A special technique of covering the inner surfaces with silver-plated glass creates unique objects. In order to develop this technique, Patricia Pisani carried out numerous material tests until she found the perfect mixing ratios for the unusual combination of materials. Through the optical and tactile contrasts of material and surface as well as an optical illusion created by the glass, these minimalist objects enchant with poetry and minimalism in equal measure.
